texware/UserMeeting 2025

  1. - November 14, 2025 | Wilsum / Nordhorn

Two inspiring days are behind us: news, networking and valuable exchanges at this year's texware/UserMeeting in Lower Saxony.

We kicked things off with an impressive tour of our long-standing customer, the WKS Textilveredlungs-GmbH in Wilsum.

Whether complex repairs, quality assurance, laboratory tests or the reprocessing of new and used goods - for more than six decades, WKS has combined the highest level of expertise with a clear focus on sustainability and environmental awareness. An exciting and informative look behind the scenes of a leading problem solver along the textile value chain!

The lecture program then began.

We welcomed Jens Herzog (Narravero GmbH) on the topic of sustainability. He gave a well-founded overview of the obligations and opportunities of the Digital Product Passport, which will be mandatory for all textile and clothing products sold in the EU from 2027.

Another highlight was the presentation by Stefan Bolte (PROGRESS SOFTWARE GmbH). Under the title „Progress Agentic RAG increases productivity and convenience with AI“ he impressively demonstrated the potential offered by linking in-house knowledge with generative AI using RAG technology.

The second day of the event took place at DENKFABRIK Nordhorn. There, Clemens Jonischkeit, software developer at update texware, presented the new web-enabled texware scanner programs.

As every year, the texware-NEWS have been the core of the event. Petra Hoffmann and Martin Speidel provided information - spread over both days of the event - on further developments in the new ERP release as well as technological highlights.

We would like to thank all participants and our speakers who made the texware/UserMeeting an event full of information, inspiration and interaction with their contributions. The open exchange of experiences is very important to us, and we are happy to take the many valuable impulses from our customers into our projects.

A Special thanks go to Mr. Michael Hofmann, Managing Director of WKS Textilveredlungs-GmbH, for the look behind the scenes of his company, and Mrs. Monika Dykhuis-Zajcz for their great support with the organization.

We are already looking forward to the next texware/UserMeeting in November 2026!
