Two exciting, inspiring days lie behind us - news and networking at this year's texware/user meeting in Hof.
The event kicked off with an impressive Operational management with our long-standing customer IPROTEX GmbH & Co. KG in Münchberg, a full-service manufacturer of technical textiles, primarily for the automotive industry.
The event then continued in Hof with the latest presentations.
Aljoscha Hieronymus from the Fraunhofer Institute for Casting, Composite and Processing Technology IGCV showed in his presentation "Ecological footprint in the textile industry" challenges and possible solutions.
Stefan Bolte from our database supplier PROGRESS SOFTWARE GmbH then demonstrated what "Artificial intelligence" already possible.
For a best-practice example, we had Carsten Digel, Head of IT / CIO from our customer Gerhard Rösch GmbH/RÖKONA Textilwerk GmbH & Co. KG, as our guest. Together with Marco Neubert, Managing Director of our hardware partner in.hub GmbH, and Ralf Müller, he reported on the use of our Digitalization platform texware/Monitoring in the Rösch/Rökona group of companies.
Andreas Böhm from the Saxon Textile Research Institute e.V. (STFI) presented current research projects in the field of digitalization and networked production as well as the SME Digital Center Smart Circuits before.
As always, the centerpiece of the event was the texware-NEWSpresented by Petra Hoffmann and Martin Speidel, during which our customers were informed about the further developments in the new ERP release and technological highlights.
We would like to thank all participants and this year's speakers for making our texware/user meeting an event full of information, inspiration and interaction with their presentations. We appreciate the exchange of experiences and will take the impulses from our customers into our projects. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Piwonski, Managing Director of IPROTEX GmbH & Co. KG, who made it possible for us to take a look behind the scenes of his innovative textile company.
