Last week, our colleague Domenic Schindler, a former graduate, once again visited the Münchberg State Textile College to give the students an insight into his current working life at update texware GmbH.
The presentation focused on the ongoing digitalization of the textile and clothing industry. Using specific practical examples, he showed how modern ERP systems support companies in making processes more transparent, controlling workflows more efficiently and making well-founded decisions based on reliable data.
The message was particularly important to him: digitalization does not replace people - it empowers them. ERP solutions are tools that complement specialist knowledge and help teams to master complex requirements in their day-to-day work with confidence.
The lively participation and great interest shown by the students made it clear how much the industry is changing - and how motivated the next generation is to actively help shape it. The open exchange on current challenges and future prospects in the textile industry was enriching for both sides.
