update texware donates 470 towels to the children and young people of the residential groups of the Geschwister-Gummi Foundation

At the end of 2025, update texware GmbH has once again set an example of social responsibility by donating 470 high-quality towels from MÖVE / Frottana to the children and young people of the residential groups of the Geschwister-Gummi Foundation in Kulmbach.
An interesting feature: the donation was financed from the income generated by update texware from parking tickets issued to parking offenders in the company's own parking lot - which the company doubled. What starts out as a nuisance turns into something positive - because every wrongly parked car indirectly contributes to doing good.
As a software company specializing in software solutions for the textile and clothing industry, update texware has the custom of donating a product from its customers range to the Geschwister-Gummi Foundation every year. This year, the choice fell on Frottana Textil GmbH & Co. KG, Großschönau, with its traditional brand MÖVE.
It should be particularly emphasized that Frottana was very generous in its financial terms when update texware GmbH placed its order and thus contributed significantly to the size of the donation. In this way, not only update texware but also Frottana was directly involved in the good deed.
The towels were handed over by Dr. Michael Schiffmann (Managing Director of update texware GmbH) and his assistant Tanja Friedrich to Jürgen Dippold (Managing Director, Geschwister-Gummi-Stiftung), Leonard von der Weth (Head of Family and Education, Geschwister-Gummi-Stiftung) and Kristin Schröder (Head of Corporate Communications, Diakonie Verbund Kulmbach).
Thanks to this year's donation, the children and young people of the Geschwister-Gummi Foundation now benefit from particularly high-quality and durable towels. Together, update texware GmbH and Frottana show how partnership, social commitment and creative donation ideas can go hand in hand.
