Dr. Michael Schiffmann is the new Managing Director of update texware GmbH

Dr. Michael Schiffmann has been the new Managing Director of update texware GmbH since 1 January 2017.
Friedrich J. Römer, Managing Director and co-partner for many years, will retire at the end of July 2017. Until then, Dr. Michael Schiffmann and Friedrich J. Römer will jointly manage the business of update texware GmbH.
Dr. Michael Schiffmann, 51, has been Managing Director of update texware GmbH since 1 January 2017. With a doctorate in economics, Dr. Schiffmann began his professional career in 1996 as an SAP consultant at Roedl & Partner GmbH.
His professional career has taken him to Managing Director of HSB Systemhaus GmbH and to the Management Board of Rödl Consulting AG. He was a member of the management board of SINTEC Informatik GmbH and an authorized signatory of fidelis HR GmbH, where he was most recently Head of Sales and Account Management Private Organizations.
Dr. Schiffmann has proven expertise in IT consulting as well as many years of practical experience in project management and IT operations. For example, he was responsible for the development and smooth operation of 3 data centers.
Dr. Schiffmann will continue the successful work of his predecessor Friedrich J. Römer and drive forward the orientation of update texware GmbH as a competence center for IT solutions in the textile and clothing industry.
