Last week, our colleagues from Kulmbach and Nordhorn gathered in Waren an der Müritz for the update-texware Strategy Meeting 2026. The multi-day team event focused on strategic planning for the coming fiscal year, sharing ideas, and further strengthening our cross-location collaboration.
During focused discussions, participants explored current topics, developed new ideas, and formulated shared goals for the future. The unique setting around Lake Müritz provided the perfect backdrop for consciously stepping away from the routine of everyday work and gaining new perspectives.
Even outside of our substantive work, team spirit was in full force. A group handcar ride called for teamwork, coordination, and, of course, a good dose of fun. We gained insight into the region’s natural and animal life during a visit to the Müritzeum. A boat tour of the Three Lakes then offered the opportunity to experience the impressive landscape around Lake Müritz from the water.
Between the program activities, there was plenty of time to explore on our own, stroll through the city together, catch up over coffee, or simply take some time to relax without a set schedule.
The days spent together were rounded out by convivial evenings featuring good food and many personal conversations. It was precisely these informal moments that provided an opportunity to get to know one another better—even across different locations—and to strengthen existing relationships.
Our strategy meeting in Waren thus combined both elements: a focus on the strategic issues for the coming fiscal year and personal interaction as the foundation for successful collaboration.
